- Collection of personal information

EnergyTechsJobs.com does not store debit or credit card details. If you opt to add a payment cards details to your account, this information is stored on PayPal’s secure servers.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Additional Uses made of the information
EnergyTechJobs gives you the opportunity to put your CV in its searchable database, designed to help you find employment quickly. You can control the level of confidentiality that you believe is appropriate.
It is your choice to either:
- make your CV searchable by our Recruiters, this is the default setting during the registrations process.
- prevent your CV from being searched and viewed by Recruiters. This means that Recruiters will not be able to see your CV, but you will be able to see it when you log in to your Profile.
You can remove any of the information that EnergyTechJobs stores about you, at any time, by logging in to your Profile and removing information or choosing to delete the Profile by contacting us through the website. EnergyTechJobs will endeavour to cancel your account within as short a time frame as possible. However, Recruiters who have paid for access to the Database may have retained a copy of your CV in their own files or databases. Recruiters have their own privacy policies and we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies.
If you choose to create a profile and upload a CV to our database, we rely on you to ensure that your details are kept up to date. You should update your CV at least every six months, particularly if your contact details have changed.
Please note that EnergyTechJobs reserves the right to remove any CVs which include any content that we consider to be illegal or offensive from our Database and close the relevant Job Seeker Profile.
Additional Information – Aggregate Statistical Information
We may also collect aggregate statistical information about site visitors and users (such as the number of CVs on the database, or the number of visitors to the site). We may provide this information to customers, recruiters, and other reputable third parties. This will not include any information that enables them to identify individuals.
New Ownership
If the ownership or control of all or part of EnergyTechJobs services changes as a result of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, we may transfer your information to the new owner.
Data Processing and Transfers
When you use or interact with any of our services, you consent to the data processing, sharing, transferring and uses of your information as outlined in this Privacy Policy. Regardless of the country where you reside, you authorise us to transfer, process, store and use your information in countries other than your own in accordance with this Privacy Policy and to provide you with services. The information is stored on computers. The access to the information is restricted with passwords and physical access to the computers is restricted by the server hosting company.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk.
